Supporting the Chilliwack Vedder River Cleanup Society

We named our Amber Ale; River Valley Amber, to celebrate our beautiful home, located smack-dab in Chilliwack’s River Valley…

To ensure we get to keep celebrating this breathtaking place, full of adventure, we wanted to do our part in keeping it as clean as possible. That’s why starting today (Sept 11), $1 from every pint of our River Valley Amber sold in the Old Yale Tasting Room will support the Chilliwack Vedder River Cleanup Society up to $1000, working to take care of Chilliwack’s Vedder River, one of our favourite places at Old Yale!

The Chilliwack Vedder River Cleanup Society is a not-for-profit society formed in 2002 by a group of dedicated people who regularly use the Chilliwack/Vedder River for recreation. Our goal, simply put, is to keep this magnificent river valley clean so we can all fully enjoy its beauty, and so it can be appreciated for generations to come. We have two river cleanups a year, one in April and one in September on BC Rivers Day which is on the fourth Sunday in September each year. For more information check out their website at www.cleanrivers.ca or follow them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/cvrcs/

There you have it, yet another reason to stop by the Old Yale Tasting Room to enjoy a River Valley Amber with all it’s smooth malt and classic balance goodness. See you soon!
