Friends!! We’ve got your entire weekend planned… and you don’t even need to leave your house… which is great considering we can’t!
It’s “Old Yale’s Weekend for the Kids” - a full weekend of entertainment all in support of an amazing local initiative in Chilliwack helping to fund hampers going out to 340 families in Chilliwack whose children aren’t able to be supported through their school’s breakfast and lunch programs due to COVID-19. We’ll be accepting donations on behalf of this organization all weekend here AND Old Yale will be matching all those donations!! You can more about this below.

Here’s the weekend agenda:
FRIDAY: Our goood friend Cliff Prang will be taking over our Facebook page LIVE for an hour of comedy!! Yupp, we could all use a laugh right about now so Cliff is going to provide us with one (… probably quite a few more than one). Don’t miss out! Starting at 7pm on Friday.
SATURDAY: As we all know, craft beer and live music are the dream “quarantine” team AND we’ve got not one but TWO MUSICIANS playing for us on Saturday night in our Back Porch Music Series Facebook LIVE Edition, starting at 6:15pm:
6:15pm – 6:45pm: Johnny Bootleg
7:00pm – 8:00pm: Jordan Klassen

SUNDAY: AND then to round out our full fun and oh so entertaining weekend in support a great cause, we’re going to play some virtual TRIVIA! IQ2000 will be hosting Trivia for us, starting at 7pm, it’ll run for 2 hours. This one won’t be hosted on our Facebook page as they have it all set up. How does Virtual Trivia work?
It’s all done via a live streaming broadcast in the link above. The host reads the questions aloud while simultaneously displaying the question text on screen. There are four rounds of 10 questions each with a half-time break in the middle! This is a team competition with up to 7 people per team. You’ll be able to have your own little group chat going on to discuss your answers and so forth. All you have to do is click the link above on Sunday before it starts (we suggest 6:45pm) and get your team rocking and rolling… can’t wait to see how you guys do… and what you team names are!
AND if you’re thinking, how could this weekend get any better? OH It can!! We’re doing this all in support of 340 families in Chilliwack whose children aren’t able to be supported their school’s breakfast and lunch programs right now.
