BEER COCKTAIL: Amaretto Mango Sour

We’ve got the perfect beer cocktail for you to craft at home this Spring, featuring our Moon Dance Mango Wheat…

You’ll Need:  

Here’s how to craft your Amaretto Mango Sour:

Step 1: Combine 1oz Ameretto, 1oz. Lime Juice and 5oz. Phillips Ginger Ale in your 12 oz Old Yale Brewing glass.

Step 2: Top up the glass with approx. 5oz. Moon Dance Mango Wheat

Step 3: Garnish with a fresh lime twist

It’s that easy… and unbelievably tasty.

Beer Cocktail: Cool Beans Winter Radler

Coffee lovers unite! This new Beer Cocktail recipe is not only insanely easy, it’s also COOL BEANS, and the answer to all those caffeine cravings!

Here’s our recipe for the Cool Beans Winter Radler, featuring our award-winning Sasquatch Stout…

Ingredients

  • Sasquatch Stout
  • Cold brew

Step 1:
Fill your 12 oz. Old Yale Brewing glass half way with our coffee, chocolately & mysterious Sasquatch Stout

Step 2:

Top the rest of your glass with Cold Brew (your fave, we used JJ Beans)

Beer Cocktail: Dark & Stormy Blonde

It’s Dark, it’s stormy… but it’s also crisp, clean & straightforward. Here is our Dark & Stormy Blonde Beer Cocktail recipe:

A Dark and Stormy Blonde

  • 4 oz Phillips ginger Ale
  • 4 Dashes Bitters
  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • 2oz Dark Rum
  • Top with Knotty Blonde
  • Garnish with Lime Wedge

Ingredients:

• Old Yale Brewing Knotty Blonde Ale
• Phillips Ginger Ale
• Your favourite Dark Rum
• Fresh lime juice
• Bitters
• Lime wedge

Step 1:
In your 12 oz. Old Yale Brewing glass, add 4 oz. of Philips Ginger Ale and 4 dashes of Bitters

Step 2:
Add 1 oz. of Fresh Lime Juice

Step 3:
Add 2 oz. of your favourite Dark Rum

Step 4:

Top the rest of your glass with our Knotty Blonde Ale and garnish with a Lime wedge.

Beer Cocktail: Escape the Trail

Our newest and easy-to-make beer cocktail is the perfect way to ‘escape’ the rainy and cold Fraser Valley weather that’s looming. Grab the recipe for our ‘Escape the Trail’ below and make it at home!

Ingredients:

• Old Yale Brewing’s Off Trail Pale Ale, ABV 5.0%
• Spiced Rum
• Triple Sec
• Orange Slice

Step 1:
In your 12 oz. Old Yale Brewing glass, add 1 oz. Triple Sec and 1 oz. Spiced Rum

Step 2:
Fill the remainder of your glass with our Off Trial Pale Ale

Step 3:
Garnish with a fresh Orange Slice

As easy as that!

Beer Cocktail: Pina Colada

If you like Pina Coaldas and getting caught in the rain, then our newest beer cocktail is perfect for you! It’s our Pina Colada Hazy ISA amplified with Coconut Rum and Pineaplle Juice. Topped with fresh Pineapple and a little umbrella, this one will transport you to a tropical paradise. Make it home with easy peasy recipe below…

Ingredients:

• Old Yale Brewing Pina Colada Hazy ISA – 5=4.5%
• Malibu Coconut Rum
• Pineapple Juice
• Fresh Pineapple
• Little Umbrella (just for fun!)

Step 1:
In your 12 oz. Old Yale Brewing glass, add 1 oz. Malibu Coconut Rum

Step 2:
Add 3oz. of Pineapple Juice

Step 3:
Fill the remainder of your glass with our Trailblazer Series Pina Colada Hazy ISA and garnish with a fresh Pineapple chunk and a little umbrella

Beer Cocktail: Brass Monkey

Our Tasting Room Manager, Joanna is at it again with her newest and easy-to-make beer cocktail recipe!! Introducing the Old Yale Brewing Brass Monkey made with Vanishing Monk Belgian Witbier. Grab the recipe below…

Ingredients:

• Old Yale Brewing Vanishing Monk Belgian Witbier, ABV 5.0%
• Vodka
• Spiced Rum
• Orange Juice
• Orange Bitters
• Mint
• Marashino Cherries

Step 1:
In your 12 oz. Old Yale Brewing glass, add 1 oz. Vodka and 1 oz. Spiced Rum

Step 2:
Add 4oz. of Orange Juice and 4 dashes of Orange Bitters

Step 3:
Fill the remainder of your glass with our Tall Tale Series Vanishing Monk Belgian Witbier and garnish with a Marashino Cherry and mint!

Simple as that!!

Beer Cocktail: Beermosa

Get your brunch squad ready. We’ve got a super easy beer cocktail recipe for you, perfect for any Sunday Funday you’ve got planned.

 

Ingredients:

• Old Yale Brewing Knotty Blonde Ale, ABV 5.0%
• Dry white sparkling wine
• Orange juice
• Orange slice

Step 1:
In your 12 oz. Old Yale Brewing glass, pour 6 oz. of our crisp, clean & straightforward Knotty Blonde Ale (should be just at the top of the OYB logo)

Step 2:
Add 2 oz. of dry white sparkling wine

Step 3:
Top up with orange juice

Step 4:
Garnish with an orange slice

Beer Cocktail: Greyhound IPA

We have the perfect cure for those West Coast rainy day blues, a Greyhound IPA. Seriously though, how delicious does that sound?? Well lucky for you, we’re giving away our secret recipe so that you can make this one at home yourselves!

Ingredients:

• Old Yale Brewing West Coast IPA, ABV 6.0%
• Grapefruit juice
• Fresh lime juice
• Rosemary

Step 1:
In your 12 oz. Old Yale Brewing glass, pour 5 oz. of grapefruit juice

Step 2:
Top up with the bold, hoppy goodness that is our West Coast IPA

Step 3:
Add a splash of fresh lime juice, stir it up and garnish with a sprig of rosemary

Beer Cocktail: Maple Bacon Stout

 

It doesn’t get more Canadian than this beer cocktail. Our award-winning Sasquatch Stout mixed with maple syrup, whiskey and bacon?? Just try to resist, we dare you…

 

Ingredients:

• Old Yale Brewing Sasquatch Stout, ABV 5.0%, IBU 15
• Maple syrup
• Rye Whiskey
• BACON!!!

Step 1:
In your 12 oz. Old Yale Brewing glass, add 2 oz. of Maple Syrup

Step 2:
Mix in 1 oz. of Rye Whiskey

Step 3:
Fill the remainder of the glass with our award-winning Sasquatch Stout

Step 4:
Stir it up and garnish with some tasty bacon

Beer Cocktail: Caramel Macchiato Stout

Sweet and delicious, this beer cocktail tastes like a caramel macchiato… that’s right Starbucks, we’re coming for you!

This one is BREW-tiful and we really love it a LATTE, seriously… words cannot ESPRESSO how much we enjoyed this one! But enough with the coffee puns, here’s how you make this delicious beer cocktail…

PS. There is no actual coffee added to this beer cocktail

Ingredients:

• Old Yale Brewing Sasquatch Stout, ABV 5.0%, IBU 15
• Caramel Vodka
• Kahlua
• Whip cream

Step 1:
In your 12 oz. Old Yale Brewing glass, add 1 oz. Caramel Vodka

Step 2:
Add 1 oz. Kalhua and stir

Step 3:
Fill the remainder of the glass with our award-winning Sasquatch Stout

Step 4:
Top with a mountain of whip cream and enjoy!!
