Blast from the Cask: Hibiscus Elderflower Mango Wheat

Every Wednesday we feature a new Blast from the Cask in the Old Yale tasting room, available in tasters, fights, 12oz. and 16oz. pours. Casks are tapped at 2pm.

 

This Wednesday’s Blast from the Cask (Apr 17): Hibiscus Elderflower Mango Wheat – 5.0%

Our smooth Moon Dance Mango Wheat gets a little flower power added to the mix by conditioning on Orange Hibiscus Tea and Elderflower. Crisp with a slightly tart sweetness, we added a generous heaping of Galaxy hops, adding a citrus and passionfruit character to this bouquet of delicate flavours. Give it a try on Wednesday (tapped at 2pm).

 

Blast from the Cask: Tropical Paradise Mango Wheat

This Wednesday’s Blast from the Cask (Apr 3): Tropical Paradise Mango Wheat – 5.5%

Tropical flavours are at the forefront with this Cask – our smooth Moon Dance Mango Wheat with Bergamot and Citrus flavours from Earl Grey Tea. Combine that with the heavy dose of Rum we added, and it’s basically a tropical paradise in a glass, all you need to do is add the little umbrella. See you at 2pm on Wednesday.

BEER COCKTAIL: Amaretto Mango Sour

We’ve got the perfect beer cocktail for you to craft at home this Spring, featuring our Moon Dance Mango Wheat…

You’ll Need:  

Here’s how to craft your Amaretto Mango Sour:

Step 1: Combine 1oz Ameretto, 1oz. Lime Juice and 5oz. Phillips Ginger Ale in your 12 oz Old Yale Brewing glass.

Step 2: Top up the glass with approx. 5oz. Moon Dance Mango Wheat

Step 3: Garnish with a fresh lime twist

It’s that easy… and unbelievably tasty.
