The earthy and herbal undertones compliment the rustic and subtly spicy flavor from the Belgian Saison yeast….YUMM! Turning 20 and celebrating this milestone has been such a great excuse to re-release old favourites, so we’re keeping it going with our ‘newest’ re-release of our Tall Tales Series favourite: Vanishing Monk Belgian Witbier.
An unfiltered Belgian style
Witbier with hints of orange and coriander, a slightly tart finish and a fluffy
white head. Use it to steam mussels or pair with a fresh fruit salad.
Legend has it that years ago, a monk arrived in Deadman Valley, BC to test his theory that this Valley was the center of the universe. When tests confirmed his suspicions, he mysteriously vanished. To this day, spontaneous combustion and sounds of choral singing both haunt and enchant those determined to uncover the Valley’s secrets.
Our Vanishing Monk Belgian Witbier is available in 650ml bombers now in the Old Yale Tasting Room and starting next week, it’ll be available in your local Private Liquor Store and on tap in favourite restaurants and bars. Find our beer near you here.

We’re celebrating our 20th anniversary this year and we couldn’t think of a better way to pay tribute to our 20 years of crafting one-of-kind beers than by releasing an old 1999 favourite…
Join us in welcoming back an OG, Sergeant’s English IPA!!
HOPS: Magnum, Golding, Cascade
MALT: Pale, Crystal 40
A tribute to our original Sergeant’s IPA, this traditional English IPA has a balanced malty backbone with an assertive bitterness that is complimented by the floral, herbal and slightly citrus character. Brewed using the 1999 recipe, this throwback favourite will only be available for a limited time.
Re-introducing our Devilfish IPA with all it’s tropical hop and smooth malt goodness. A daringly simple IPA, the Devilfish was crafted using only the essentials: special amber malt and Australian Ella hops.
MALT: Special Amber
Legend has it that Cultus Lake is bottomless and connects to the ocean via underground rivers. These waterways have brought a whole new species of predators to Cultus; the Devilfish. Rumoured to be 6 feet in length with no known enemies, the Devilfish rarely reveals itself — enjoy your swim, but watch where you kick your feet.
The Devilfish’s tropical notes and smooth finish are best savoured with a spicy seafood dish. Find this 650ml bomber (available for a limited time) in your local Private Liquor Store, the Old Yale Tasting Room and on tap in your favourite restaurants and bars. Cheers, friends!
