The Sales Manager is responsible for coaching and managing the day-to-day activities of the entire sales team, while maintaining and growing Old Yale Brewing’s key accounts. They will also work closely with Sales Brokers within different territories to set a vision, create a plan and hold the brokers accountable for executing against that plan. They will maintain, service and strategize on the best ways to grow Old Yale Brewing’s presence within the BCLDB listings and store network. They will champion the consultative sales approach and mentor the sales team using this approach. They will be expected to keep the overall sales team’s activities running smoothly within an approved budget. He or she will be skilled in dispute resolution and has the ability to travel throughout Western Canada. The Sales Manager will also be expected to represent the company at shows, conferences and events.
The Tasting Room & Hospitality Manager is responsible for promoting Old Yale Brewing to the public. They will oversee the tasting and sale of beer and non-beer products in the brewery’s lounge and retail store to maximize sales potential. The Tasting Room & Hospitality Manager will also oversee the daily operations of the tasting room, taking pride in the brand, and ensuring that the team is providing exceptional customer service and creating an innovative, educational and compelling sales experience for our customers. Additionally, the Tasting Room & Hospitality Manager will oversee the food program and food truck staff; ensuring that our food truck and food program are running efficiently, productively and are complementing our overall tasting room operation. This role also includes, from time to time, additional day-to-day duties such as serving, stocking, cleaning, inventory ordering, social media management and some sales support.
The Marketing Assistant will work both independently and with the extended Old Yale team to support the execution of all brewery related marketing activities. This role requires a high level of organization, well-developed communication skills and the ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
This position will report to the Marketing Manager and will have a strong working relationship with all other brewery staff.
The Tasting & Events Brand Ambassador (BA) will work both with the Tasting & Events Coordinator as well as independently to execute all Fraser Valley liquor store tastings and brewery related events.
